It is really disturbing what number of mogul players on NFL groups dissented amid the National Anthem in an attack of liberal insanity. One group, in any event, appears to feel profound regret about the grave offense they conferred in disrespecting individuals from America’s military along these lines.
Prior to an amusement in London against the Baltimore Ravens, the players on the Jacksonville Jaguars went on one knee to demonstrate solidarity. A few players stood up as the Anthem played, yet others on the group remained bowing. After some reflection, the players seem to have qualms about what they did.
Said the Jaguars in a statement, “We need to influence it to clear that we never planned in any capacity to demonstrate slight towards the U.S. military group, specialists on call, our banner, or our national song of devotion. We adore and regard everybody who serves and has made penances for the United States previously, today and what’s to come. That is particularly valid in the place where we grew up of Jacksonville.”
Check Lamping, the President of the Jaguars, later sent a letter to the director of military undertakings and veterans in the city of Jacksonville to apologize for having offended America’s military along these lines. He expressed that his group was “delinquent in not completely fathoming the impact of the national song of praise show on outside soil has had on the men and ladies who have or keep on serving our nation.”
He added, “This was an oversight and surely not expected to communicate something specific that would defame you, our banner or our country. The thought never entered the psyches of our players or anybody associated with the Jacksonville Jaguars, however today we can see how the occasions in London on September 24 could have been seen or misjudged.” Lamping concluded, “We owe you a statement of regret and expectation you will acknowledge it.”
Can the Jaguars be pardoned for this?
They need to prove they are deserving to be forgiving.
